Food Sensitivity Testing was formed in 2013 to cater for the growing number of patients requiring answers to food related health problems. Our company is managed by a team of dedicated specialists and support staff based in Queensland, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand.
We exclusively use a laboratory that specialises in food intolerance testing. Our laboratory routinely tests thousands of samples each month from referring food sensitivity specialists.
Our laboratory uses an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to measure total IgG (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4) to various food-based antigens. Most laboratories only provide a measurement of IgG4 molecules. However, these results may be misleading. Testing only for IgG4 limits the clinician’s ability to ascertain food antigens that trigger significant clinical reactions.
This kind of advanced testing allows us to provide accurate test results to our clients across New Zealand and Australia who are suffering from a number of different food related distresses. Often our clients are shocked to find they have intolerances to foods they consume on a daily basis.
